ReInvent
About:
REINVENT is a game created as part of a study to understand the role that technology can play in helping people explore aspects of gender/identity. For the study, a demo was created to showcase how the mechanics, art, and theme encourage gender exploration.
Robin’s Role
As the artist for ReInvent, I worked with the team of programers and created pixel art characters, assets, background art, and animations. Because I was new to GameMaker, I had to lean on my skills from other software such as Unity, Photoshop, and Illustrator, in order to learn the new software and implement the art within a 2 week turnaround.
